Hockey ball 2012
19.04.2012 l representation lA hockey ball team of our school will enter a new season contest next week. Under the coaching of PhDr I. Veselý our hockey ball players will try to succeed in the district round and to get through to the regional round. We believe that they will be successful.

A price from Ústí nad Labem
24.03.2012 l representation lLukáš Melichar, František Smreček and Marek Dvořák of the class VL3 participated in the nationwide competition of knowledge of the postal services in Ústí nad Labem. They have obtained a special price of panel judges for their best image. Congratulation. Our thanks belong also to Ing S. Nobilisová for her organization and pedagogical supervision of this action.
A discussion with PČR (Police of Czech Republic)

Our floorball players are fifth
17.03.2012 l representation lOur floorball players have finished in the fifth place at a tournament of the Secondary Schools in Stochov. We thank all of them for their representation of SOŠ and SOU Kladno. Our thank belongs also to PHDr I. Veselý for his pedagogical supervision and training of our team. A performance of L. Kříček was also successful as the referee at this tournament.
The successful study visits of our teachers abroad
11.03.2012 l projects lMgr Z. Hlavničková, Mgr H. Jůzová and the principal of our school, Mgr R. Střihavka, have successfully got through their educational stay at our German partner school in Berlin. During three days they had an opportunity to participate actively in the school lessons, to become familiar with a system of reform of the present German secondary education and have received the certificates of their successful study visit. Mgr Z. Sklenářóvá, Mgr V. Linhartová and Mgr R. Stříhavka have also got through their educational stay at our partner school in Györ in Hungary. During classes they had been presenting study materials about our republic, Central Bohemian Region, city of Kladno including SOŠ and SOU Kladno in the English, German and Russian languages. They have also received the certificates of their successful study visit abroad. We thank and congratulate all of them for their representation of our teaching staff.
An absolute failure in volleyball by the river Danube
09.03.2012 l representation lThe female volleyball players of SOŠ and SOU Kladno hadn’t been up to tournament in the Hungarian Györ. Not even our fifth trial had been sufficient. We hadn’t gained a single set at a friendly atmosphere in a sport hall of the Baross Gábor School. We had lost all matches and travelled very sadly home. However, our partners had prepared excellent cultural and social programme for us. We had an opportunity to visit the Györ National Theater and to see the opera Carmen. All our stay was amazing in Hungary, but our long-desired success in the tournament at the European volleyball great power has not come yet.

07.03.2012 l representation lThe female volleyball players of SOŠ and SOU Kladno under a coaching of Bc R. Neumannová and at presence of the principle of our school, Mgr R. Stříhavka, have been training for the Baross Cup 2012 that will be on Friday. A rich programme of culture and history prepared by our Hungarian partners is also a part of this sport orientated action. The teachers of our school, Mgr V. Linhartová and Mgr Z. Sklenářová, will have their presentations of study materials about Czech Republic, the Central Bohemian Region, city of Kladno including our school in the English, German and Russian languages.
The Polish delegation will be again in the Central Bohemian Region
06.03.2012 l projects lThe delegation from Opol County in Poland will visit the Central Bohemian Region within the bounds of two year project of Comenius Regio next week. A part of its programme will also be its visit of our school. Some experts of the secondary education, representatives of founders and educational institutions will work on a final phase of the project products on a main topic of the specific education in future. We believe strongly that our teachers will contribute steadfastly to this high level of planned meeting with their qualitative presentations.

22.02.2012 l representation lThat’s absolutely fantastic! Our school websites are gold again. We have already managed to win three successive competitions in a category of the Secondary Schools as the first school in history. The principal of SOŠ and SOU Kladno, Mgr Radek Střihavka, has received a certificate and the main prize for our victory from the Lord Mayor of the statutory city of Kladno, Ing Dan Jiránek. A preparation for Hungary is reaching its peak
16.02.2012 l representation lThe volleyball female players of SOŠ and SOU Kladno have been actively undertaking their preparation for a culmination of this year’s sport season. In the second week of March, they will try to break up a long-standing magic spell and, finally, to win a medal under the coaching of Bc R. Neumannová in the Hungarian town Györ located by the river Danube.

The bartender competition in Žatec
26.01.2012 l representation lOur male student, Miroslav Mrázek, of class K2 participated in the exacting bartender competition in Žatec. Admittedly, he hasn’t won any medals in this national competition, but represented our school very well. We thank him for it. Our thanks belong also to Michaela Mildorfová of class S3 and our teachers, M. Hájek, P. Vlasatá and Mgr H. Jůzová, for their pedagogical supervision, active and very meticulous preparation of our students.
The European co-operation 2012 – 2014
15.01.2012 l projects lNext week, the principal project coordinator of our school, PhDr J. Bartůněk, will travel to Marl in Germany where he will try to enter into new European partnerships of the Secondary Schools, which would lead to further continuation of the Comenius project for a period of 2012 – 2014, at presence of the representatives of Germany, Bulgaria, Hungary and Turkey.

Within the bounds of programme of the Comenius Regio project they will visit five Polish Secondary Schools, the Opol Offices and other important institutions there.

PhDr Ivan Veselý is again the champion of Europe
15.11.2011 lA teacher of our school, PhDr Ivan Veselý, has made his further great sport success in Luxembourg. He has won a title of the European champion in bench press. We congratulate him very much on his super result. In addition, we owe him further congratulation on his nomination for his role of the referee at the World Championship in Canada that was already at the end of last September.

Important meeting of members of association at our school
19.10.2011 lToday, a long prospective and prepared meeting of the members of the Association of Logistic, Post and Telecommunication Schools of Bohemia is held on the grounds of our school and town. This is first time in our school history in Kladno. We are warmly welcoming more than 35 principals and representatives of schools from the entire Czech Republic. Ing S. Nobilisová, the head teacher of the Logistic section of our school, is in charge of this whole large action. We wish all a pleasant working stay and also, to some of them, interesting knowledge of our town during the next two days.
Football disappointment
15.10.2011 l representation lOur school football team hasn’t successful y entered the football season. At a tournament of the Secondary Schools of our region our team had fifth place and hasn’t been qualified for further competitive matches. Nevertheless, we thank all for their representation of the SOŠ and SOU Kladno and Mgr Monica Soukupová for her pedagogic supervision of this traditional sport action.

05.10.2011 l projects lA traditional lifelong education fair including our participation will be held at the prestige halls of the House of Culture in Kladno next week. We are inviting all fans of education and also our school teachers to visit our presentation stand at Sítná.

01.10.2011 l representation lWe have won our first sport medal of this academic year in the cross-country run of the Secondary Schools in the category of boys. It is the bronze medal. We thank Mgr Zarin Pozan for his pedagogic supervision and our boys for their good representation of our school. Congratulations!

29.09.2011 l representation lTomorrow, we will be participating in the first race of this season in the cross-country run of the regional Secondary Schools including both categories of boys and girls under leading of Mgr M. Soukupová. We want a medal! Boys and girls aim for it.
Gastrofest Kolín 2011
21.09.2011 l representation lThe second international Gastrofest was held in Kolín on the last weekend during the beautiful weather. This largest gastronomy fair was organized by the Central Bohemian Region and it was again a great success. Our school had also its stand on the Kolín square. Our range of food included the black and white puddings (andonille), pancakes and original hog-killing goulash. A district commissioner of the Central Bohemia Region, MUDr D. Rath, came to taste our delicatessens himself. Our thanks go to Lukáš and Vašek, our loyal and responsible apprentices, who had managed to perform their very good work at the outside temperature of 30⁰C. We thank also Mgr H. Jůzová, P. Vlasatá and J. Jůza. The principal of our school had also attended the Gastrofest 2011 and was present when our representatives had received the commemorative certificate and glass vase with engraving from the Gastrofest organizers.

17.09.2011 lOn Monday there will be a student march to a tumulus in Velká Dobrá as out-of –school activity. Bc R. Neumannová is organizing this whole action and our thanks go to her. Students, don’t be late! We believe that all students will be on time.

Holiday expression of thanks
31.08.2011 lThe interior fixtures and fittings and appearance of our school were undergoing further important innovation changes during the summer holiday. We have new and modern boards in all classes thanks to this valuable present from our Austrian partner school in St Veit. Installation of these new boards was not easy matter. We would like to thank Martin Janda, Radek Hoskovec, Miloš Simon, Vladimír Horák, František Hrdina, Milan Štork and Olga Tabáčková for their dedicated effort and well done work that often was very demanding.

29.06.2011 lIng Monika Rokůsková has become the champion of the Czech Republic In the veteran category of badminton doubles for 2011. She has also won the silver medal in the mixed doubles. We congratulate and wish her many more successful tournaments.
The Danish gymnasts in Kladno
28.06.2011 lOne hundred twenty gymnasts from Denmark showed a spectacular sport performance for the students and teachers of our school in the Kladno hockey- ball hall. The professional performance of the Danish students electrified completely the full house. We thank Prof. Finn Tarpgaard and his students for this attractive performance.
A little tent town of SOŠ and SOU Kladno 2011
27.06.2011 l projects lA little tent town sprouted on the grounds of our school the first time of our new history. It has immediately won many fans. Tens of our students had an opportunity to camp out on the premises of our school during three days within the bounds of nontraditional conception of teaching. Of course, this action was under a supervision of our teachers and the approval of the City Fire Department. An interesting program including refreshment was prepared for all participants. Mgr Radek Střihavka and Mgr L. Chochola also were present at this action. Our thanks go to Bc R. Neumannová and Ing S.Nobilisová for their dedicated pedagogical supervision alternatively always lasting 24 hours. We believe that this tent action and interesting performance of skills of our students has not been the last one.
Villach 2011
26.06.2011 lThis week some students of our school together with the female teachers, Ing S. Nobilisová nad Bc R. Neumannová, participated in a study stay in the Austrian Corinthia. In the most beautiful surroundings of Alps they visited our partner school CHS Villach, saw many cultural monuments and also travelled to bordering Slovenia and Italy. The whole action was in a very friendly atmosphere and at the beautiful summer weather. We thank all participants for their representation of our school and region abroad. Our special thanks go to Jugendhotel Egger for its very good accommodation and catering, and also to the headship of CHS Villach for its hearty welcome and care of our group.
The ecological exposition
25.06.2011 lOur students of the external business study under a supervision of Mgr L. Chochola visited the Křivoklát ecological exposition within the bounds of out-of-school teaching. We thank all for their responsible approach to this nontraditional out-of-school activity.
The beach volleyball 2011

At a splendid weather on the grounds of summer sports David Hykeš and Nikola Voráčková, Marek Hartman and Martin Kaválek, Ing Monika Rokůsková and Nikola Voráčková have become champions in three categories. Solemn ceremonies are officially cancelled
17.06.2011 lFor the first time in our modern history of SOŠ and SOU Kladno the solemn ceremonies of presentation of school-leaving certificates and certificates of apprenticeship to students of our school will not take place in the Ceremonial Hall of Kladno Town Hall. A date for presentation of certificates to students by the school principal is in accordance of present legislation and it is the main reason for this limitation mentioned above.

Water sport course 2011
07.06.2011 lOur traditional water sport course under the supervision of Mgr M. Feller will take place this week. Some chosen students of our school together with Ing M. Rosůlková and Mgr J. Jonáková will spend these days in full adventure combined with implied sense of literature on the river Berounka. We wish all good weather and many new stimulating experiences.

03.05.2011 l projects lThis week, the first time in our modern school history, a party of some students and teachers of SOŠ and SOU Kladno under the leadership of the principal of this school, Mgr R. Střihavka, will travel to the Finnish town of Tampere to attend meetings of the Secondary Schools from Finland, Germany and Bohemia based on the partnership agenda of the schools Comenius. 29.04.2011 l representation lThe hockey- ball players of SOŠ and SOU Kladno have made a successful step to defend the gold medal of the last year’s nationwide competition. Sapere – to know how to live
23.03.2011 l representation lOne hundred sixty three students of our school have taken part in a project called “Sapere – to know how to live” under a supervision of Bc R. Neumannová, DIS. They have been competing to win some valuable prizes for our school. We do know already some winners of this competition from our school round. Elena Vítková was placed first, Ondřej Pokorný finished in the second place and Johana Gruntová was in the third place. The Secondary School students and Europe
19.03.2011 l representation lSome students of the chosen classes have also participated in a competition called “The Secondary School students and Europe” this year. In the first round of this competition our students would try to gain further ground under a leadership of Ing S. Nobilisová. We thank all for their participation in this competition and believe in their medallic success. We won the bronze medal in the regional round last year.
A sad foot-sal farewell
14.03.2011 l representation lOur foot-sal players were not through to finals of the Foot-sal Nationwide Championship. We thank PhDr I. Veselý for his pedagogical supervision of this area of sport and our boys for their effort and representation of our school. A big and historical opportunity to be promoted to a dreamt-of elite nationwide finals was promising in the Kladno home environment. What a pity.
EUROPA SECURA 2011
11.03.2011 l representation lSome students of our school will also participate in a project called “Europa Secura” in this school year. The students of L1, V1, VL2 and S1 classes under a supervision of Ing S. Nobilisová will take the internet test deciding about a further progress of the successful participants. We thank all for their activity and wish them a lot of success.
Euroscola 2011
09.03.2011 l representation lThe students of SOŠ and SOU Kladno under a supervision of Ing S. Nobilisová have actively participated in a project called Euroscola” as every year. We thank all and believe that this internet and attractive competition would be successful and leading our way to the open Europe.
Magyarország 2011
07.03.2011 l projects lLast week a group of twenty students and teachers of our school visited our partner school in the Hungarian Györ. Our partners prepared very tight and qualitative programme for our stay at environment of the river Danube. In addition to our participation in class lessons in two local schools, a trip to town Šoproň and excursion of the spa centre we had excellent accommodation and very good catering given by our partners. We thank the Gabor Baross school for its friendly welcome of us and Bc R. Neumannová and other teachers for their supervision and co-operation of this international school action.
Empty handed from Hungary again
06.03.2011 l representation lThe fourth trial of our school volleyball team of girls was not even up to winning any medals in the Baross Cup that was on the ground of our partner school in the Hungarian Györ. We thank all participants for their effort. mettle and representation of SOŠ and SOU Kladno and whole our region. Our congratulation goes to Nikola Voráčková who gained appreciation of the best player in this tournament Baross Cup 2011.
We have the International gold medal
22.02.2011 l projects lOur victory has taken one full Olympic cycle. At last, we have lived to see the International gold medal in volleyball since Villach and St Veit 2007. At a very lively spectator atmosphere in the Kladno sport hall, our volleyball team managed to defeat opponents in the basic group and also finale match with the very strong and fit team of the Commercial Academy from Slaný. Our partners from Hungary won the bronze medals. Our thanks belong to a leading referee, Ing J. Mühlfeit, for his excellent and correct decisions of the tournament matches. Bc R. Neumannová as a leading trainer of our team could experience this well-deserved triumph on the home ground for the first time. The best female player of this tournament was Nikola Voráčková who showed absolutely her best sport performance of her volleyball career. Our congratulations and thanks go to Jakub Rouček, David Hykš, Mark Hartman, Petr Šerák, Nikola Voráčková, Nicola Káňová, Lucie Nedvĕdová, Martina Hahnová, Zuzana Frantová, Kateina Švihlíková, Veronica Koulová and a captain of our team, Irena Störzerová, for their excellent and very successful representation of our school and region. We thank also members of the organizing committee of volleyball of SOŠ and SOU Kladno, Ing S. Nobilisová, Jakub Cafourek and Monica Fricová. This victory has made a mark in the new school history so faras the greatest sport and organizing success at the International level on home ground.
We are welcoming delegation from Hungary
16.02.2011 l projects lA delegation of the teachers and students is arriving from the Hungarian Györ today. Our partners of Danube region will explore Kladno, visit schools, capital of Czech Republic Prague and participate in the International volleyball tournament of Secondary Schools that is organized by our school and will take a place in the Kladno sport hall on Thursday. We wish all many interesting and valuable experiences.
Bowling of our school teachers
03.02.2011 lThe teaching staff of our school celebrated jointly the end of first half term of academic year 2010/2011. They played bowling in Stochov. The winning team of teachers (Ing P. Franc, Mgr Z. Sklenářová, Ing M. Bíbová) won a price of the school principal who participated also in this action together with former and present teachers. Our thanks belong to Mgr R. Vočková, Bc R.. Landová and Mgr M. Soukupová for organizing of this very successful out-of-school pedagogical event.
Floor-ball bronze from Liberec
01.02.2011 l representation lThe floor-ball players of SOŠ and SOU Kladno won the bronze medal in the floor-ball tournament of best players of the Secondary Schools in Liberec. We thank our team for its excellent representation of our school and PhDr Ivan Veselý for his repeat and successful coaching.
Our lady teachers at CHS Villach
23.01.2011 lMgr Z. Volná Ježková, chairperson of our School Board, Mgr Z. Hlavničková, J. Šolcová and S. Schröderová represented SOŠ and SOU Kladno at the official meeting with our Austrian partners on te grounds of our partner school CHS Villach in Corinthia. They had an opportunity to discuss various school issues in Europe and see many interesting demonstrations and products of this Austrian school.Photos
Foot-sal progress of boys
19.01.2011 l representation lFoot-sal players of SOŠ and SOU Kladno under the leadership of PhDr I. Veselý managed to progress to the divisional final. We congratulate them and hope for their further progressive success. Our girls did not manage to progress to the divisional final. In spite of that they deserve also our thanks for their excellent representation of our school.
Criss-cross through centuries
18.01.2011 l projects lIn our school there was a competition in history knowledge of students of the Secondary School this week. Roman Knýř from class V1 won the first place. Congratulation. We thank all participating students and also Mgr R. Vočková for her organization and pedagogical supervision of this action.
Poetry around us
12.01.2011 lIn our school there was an announcement of the first year competition in photography and literature called “Poetry around us” this week. A female student Mathousová was chosen as the winner from a number of competitive submitted works. Congratulation. Our thanks belong also to Mgr O. Fikrlová and Mgr Z. Chytil for their pedagogical supervision of this non-traditional school action.
Project OPVK
08.01.2011 lOur school has taken part in the Project OPVK. Under a heading “Playfully and correctly, economically and legally” is hidden possibility to gain the European grant for higher level of the educational procedures in SOŠ and SOU Kladno. Ing S. Nobilisová and Mgr Z. Volná - Ježková are principal methodologists of this project for our school.
Bartending course
05.01.2011 l projects lA traditional bartending course took place in our school this week. Our students had an opportunity to obtain a certificate of the Tretter’s Bartending Academy. Mr Miloš Tretter, the master of bartending, led this highly professional bartending course himself in SOŠ and SOU Kladno all week. We thank him and Mgr Hana Jůzová for their organization of this action.

A hockey ball team of our school will enter a new season contest next week. Under the coaching of PhDr I. Veselý our hockey ball players will try to succeed in the district round and to get through to the regional round. We believe that they will be successful.
